Can I get my user guide in another language?
To download the user guide in another language, go to http://www.lenovo.com/UserManuals and follow
the instructions on the screen.
Where are the recovery discs?
Your computer may not come with a recovery disc. Instead, some alternative recovery solutions are
available. For more information, see Chapter 5 “Lenovo OneKey Recovery system” on page 23.
Where can I download the latest drivers?
The latest drivers for your computer are available on the Lenovo Support Web site. To download the latest
drivers for your computer, go to http://www.lenovo.com/drivers and follow the instructions on the screen.
Note: If Lenovo Companion (software) is preinstalled on your computer, you can use the System Update
function of the software to automatically download and install the latest drivers.
What can I do if the backup process fails?
If the backup process fails, do the following:
1. Close other applications, then restart the backup process.
2. Check if the destination medium is damaged. Select another file path and try again.
Configuring the operating system
If your computer is pre-installed with Windows operating system, you need to configure it the first time you
use your computer. The configuration procedures may include:
• Accepting the end user license agreement
• Configuring the Internet connection
• Creating a user account
Registering your computer
When you register your computer, information is entered into a database, which enables Lenovo to contact
you in case of a recall or other severe problem. After you register your computer with Lenovo, you will receive
